This foundational course in the Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul Al-Fiqh) provides comprehensive study of the methodological framework for deriving Islamic legal rulings, drawing extensively from the pioneering work of Imam Al-Shafi'i and subsequent scholars. Students will learn the fundamental sources of Islamic law (Quran, Sunnah, Ijma, and Qiyas) and the principles for their proper application.
